You can’t turn a page without reading about this blogging “thing” that is taking over the world. Lots of information about the folksy voice used in blogs to sidestep that polished marketing-speak and give a better feel for a company.

My favorite part is the cottage industry that ghostwrites folksy blog copy for company executives too busy to actually write.

I love America.

Not that it’s particularly important (except to us), but this blog will be written by real people at Imaginary Landscape. I say “people” in the hope that my co-workers will provide some rifle shots of relevance to this stream of consciousness.

We will endeavor to keep the content worthy of those taking the time to read it. Lastly, we promise not to lace it with keywords as a covert tool to drive traffic. Yes, we want it to drive traffic but only because it is well written, informative, sometimes humorous and always relevant.
