Review Board a great tool for catching code errors
Recently, our programming staff began using a tool called Review Board. It is a tool to help review programming code and identify and correct coding errors. It was greeted with enthusiasm here at Imaginary along with a request that we post about it in this blog. And so, here is the post, straight from the programming department:
Not knowing what a diff file was somewhat hobbled me in my full appreciation of the post, however anything that combines "catch common errors in programming" with "easy, intuitive, and even enjoyable" has my full attention and complete support.
Review Board rocks.
Code reviews are good practice; they're a great way to catch common errors in programming, both trivial and serious. Code reviews are normally a frustrating process, because you have to read cryptic diff files, write up the line numbers on which you would like to suggest changes, et cetera. But Review Board makes the whole process easy, intuitive, and even enjoyable.
When your programmers enjoy a process that helps ensure the stability and integrity of your code, that can't be anything but a good thing.

It's comments like that that make it really feel worthwhile to develop this software :) Thanks!
Would you mind if we added your company to our public list of companies using Review Board? (http://www.review-board.org/users.php), and can we post that quote on the site? :)
