New Chicago advertising awards site
A fundamental element to the competition is its innovative Web site, located at http://www.chicagocreativeclub.com. Print, audio and video entries must be uploaded electronically. International judging is done exclusively online.
"By offering an exclusively online process, we've eliminated the hassle of managing video tapes, audio tapes, binders and the tonnage of materials typically associated with award competitions," said Brian Moloney managing partner of Imaginary Landscape the company tasked with creating the online process. "Another significant benefit is the ease of judging. By constructing an online judging system, we've eliminated the need for judges to gather in a single conference room and plow through stacks of entries."
The aesthetic design of the Web site is courtesy of Foote, Cone & Belding. Imaginary Landscape's work was almost entirely behind the scenes.
"The Chicago Creative Club site combines graceful design with sophisticated programming to produce a Web site that looks great and also handles much of the work," said Moloney.
