Chicago Dental Society names Imaginary Landscape, LLC vendor of record for Web
CHICAGO – The Chicago Dental Society has selected Chicago-based
Imaginary Landscape, LLC as its vendor of record for all Web-related
activities. The CDS Web presence consists of five distinct Web sites,
including an extensive section of the public site dedicated to its
Midwinter Meeting.
"We selected Imaginary Landscape because of their extensive association and health care Web development experience," said Randall B. Grove, executive director of CDS. "We were impressed with their credentials and their understanding of our Web-based needs."
This summer, Imaginary Landscape will migrate the sites to a new dedicated server and begin preparing for the Midwinter Meeting, an annual meeting hosted by CDS and drawing 32,000 dental professionals from around the world.
"The Chicago Dental Society is a wonderful addition to our association practice and we are thrilled to welcome them to our family of clients," said Brian Moloney, managing director of Imaginary Landscape, LLC. "It is our responsibility to manage the Web sites, enhance existing functionality and develop new functionality so CDS presents a unified, intuitive Web experience to its members and conference attendees."
CDS is an affiliate of the American Dental Association and is the local representation for dentists residing in Cook, Lake and DuPage Counties within Illinois. It has more than 8,000 members, about half of which practice in its geographic area. The other half practice dentistry throughout the U.S. and the world and join the society so that they can attend the Midwinter Meeting at no charge as one benefit of membership.
The mission of the CDS is, first and foremost, to represent the interests of its members and the public they serve. The society also works to promote the art and science of dentistry and improve oral health care in this country.
The Chicago Dental Society Web site is located at http://www.cds.org.
