New uptime record for Imaginary Landscape Web server
Nov. 11, 2004 - Imaginary Landscape Web server "eternal" today set an
uptime record of 500 days. The uptime measurement is number of days
without a reboot.
"Eternal" breaks the prior Imaginary Landscape record set by server "WS1" which achieved 434 days without a reboot.
"Eternal" is running strong and we have no need to bring it down at this time for servicing," said Brian Moloney, Managing Partner of Imaginary Landscape. "This record will continue to grow."
"Eternal" runs the UNIX-derivative operating system FreeBSD, along with Apache Web server.
