New First American Bank Web site "significantly faster" thanks to Imaginary Landscape
Chicago - Earlier this year, Carpentersville, Ill.-based First American Bank contracted Imaginary Landscape to assist their internal technology team with a series of Web-related issues.
Over the course of several weeks, Imaginary Landscape tech staff collaborated with First American tech staff to evaluate, correct, test and implement a series of solutions in preparation for the launch of its new Web presence.
"Imaginary's involvement was pivotal in making our site faster and more efficient," said Noel Levasseur, Executive Vice President for Information Technology at First American Bank. "The new site's performance is receiving great reviews from our clients."
The technology used by First American is the open source Web development framework Django, powered by the Python programming language. Imaginary Landscape has been developing Web sites in Python for 10 years, and utilizing the Django framework for two years.
"First American came to us with a series of highly technical issues that were affecting the user experience of their Web presence," said Brian Moloney, Managing Partner for Imaginary Landscape. "We had expertise in the specialized technology they needed and we were happy to assist them in providing such dramatic results."
