Imaginary Landscape, LLC

In late 2008, Imaginary Landscape conducted a comprehensive bi-lingual usability study on Web site Radiologyinfo.org, a joint project between RSNA and the American College of Radiologists.  The study was designed to identify any defects in the design or structure of the site that might impede the successful attainment of predefined goals.  The study was constructed in two parts - one for an English-speaking audience and one for a Spanish-speaking audience.

In its evaluation, Web site development firm Imaginary Landscape rated Radiologyinfo.org eight or nine on a 10-point scale on most criteria.  The company was most impressed by the site's search engine optimization and recommended only one improvement:  A design facelift.

"[Imaginary Landscape] concluded that users found the site easy to navigate and full of good content, but recommended its look be updated," said committee member James Donaldson, M.D., chair of the Department of Medical Imaging at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago and the RSNA-ACR committee vice co-chair.
