Welcome to Imaginary's series of django CMS tutorials specifically created for the end user. If you are responsible for the management of your website's content and need some help and guidance finding your way around the django content management tool, these videos can help you.

The tutorials are designed for those new to this content management system. They address the basics of getting started with content creation, organization, publishing, as well as more advance features such as user and page permissions and working with plug-ins in the page structure view.

django CMS is robust and feature rich. It is also very intuitive and easy to use once you have learned the basics. Each tutorial will take you step-by-step through key elements, features, and functions to help you gain an understanding and familiarity you need to do the work you care about.

django CMS 101: Getting Started

The django CMS 101 Getting Started tutorial is created specifically for the end user who is new to the django CMS tool. It is an introduction to the content management system, and includes a walk through of the login process, toolbar, editing in draft mode, and publishing to the live site. This video is most appropriate for users of django CMS version 3.2.3.

django CMS: The Admin Panel

The django CMS Admin Panel tutorial addresses the needs of the end user and covers several topics that include working with the site tree and its management tools, organizing pages, searching and filtering the page list, and restoring deleted pages. It is most appropriate for users of version 3.2.3, however version differences are addressed throughout. 

django CMS: Adding Pages

Video 3 is all about adding pages to your website.  This tutorial takes you through newly added elements in django CMS 3.2.3 such as a the “create” new page short cut, walks you through the new page wizard that includes all the essentials for creating a new page, the basic settings form, template assignment, and addresses the importance of slugs.
