Imaginary Landscape welcomes national not-for-profit Communities in Schools as its newest client

August 19, 2019

CHICAGO -- Arlington, Va.-based Communities in Schools has selected Imaginary Landscape as its website vendor of record.  As part of the initial set of priorities, Imaginary stabilized and secured the CIS website, and created additional tools to assist the organization in their fundraising efforts.

After transitioning from their prior vendor, Imaginary upgraded the site's infrastructure and created a series of landing page tools so that CIS staff could easily create ad-hoc pages.  This was particularly useful leading up to the National Day of Giving in May.  The new templates allowed for more visual presentation of content and a clear call to action which resulted in a significant increase in donations.

"Imaginary really helped us in reaching our business goals this year," said Sarah Boison, Principal, Digital Communications for Communities in Schools.  "They stabilized the site and provided the tools necessary for us to conduct our first ever Giving Day which led to us exceeding our donation goal for the campaign.  There's renewed internal optimism about the website and its ability to contribute to our goals.  Imaginary made that happen."

At its communications retreat this spring, CIS outlined its future vision for the website.  Design, functionality and information architecture were the three key components of its strategy to leverage the website to achieve the organization's future goals.

"Communities in Schools is such a wonderful organization.  Their national network of affiliates, coordinators and collaborative partners are making a huge impact in educational outcomes," said Brian Moloney, President and CEO of Imaginary Landscape.  "We are honored to be selected as their trusted partner and look forward to helping them leverage web technology to accomplish their mission."
